On launch, Bonjour Mounter places it's icon in the menu-bar. Clicking on the icon will present you with the application menu.

- About Bonjour Mounter,
Displays the about screen where you can find information about the version number currently installed on your Mac.
- Show Mount Window,
Displays the main window where you can manage your network shares
- Mount/Unmount,
Sub menus serve as quick and easy mounting and un-mounting of your defined network shares (these sub-menus will auto generate when network share are added to bonjour Mounter)
- License,
Displays Bonjour Mounter's License activation window, where you can activate your license.
- Preferences,
Displays Bonjour Mounter's preferences window, where you can fine-tune Bonjour Mounter's behaviour.
- Check for Updates,
Queries the server for any updates.
- Help,
Open's your browser to Bonjour Mounter's website where this manual is found.
- Quit Bonjour Mounter,
When you got-to-go, you got-to-go.

Preferences. (General)
|

- Checking this option enables Bonjour Mounter to start automatically when your computer starts witch has the benefit of mounting the network shares early on in your work session without your intervention.
- Bonjour Mounter can look-up your Mac's Host file to pick up host-names defined by your network administrator to add them to the server list in the main window's add dialogue, so you don't have to type them in.
- Bonjour Mounter can scan the local broadcasting windows machines to add them to the server list in the main window's add dialogue, so you don't have to type them in.
- If you encounter a problem with Bonjour Mounter, the developer will ask you for this file, so if you are at some point looking for assistance it is recommended to enable this option so all of Bonjour Mounter's action can be logged. The log file location can be found right under the logging option

Preferences. (Monitoring)

- Checking this option enables bonjour mounter's network connectivity monitoring ability.
- The host-name used to determine connectivity, this host name can be a LAN server or a server on the internet

Preferences. (Bonjour)

- Checking this option enables Bonjour Mounter ability to monitor the network for advertised Bonjour services, when a service becomes available on your network, Bonjour Mounter will know about it, and will mount the network shares associated to this service is they are defined in the main windows.

Preferences. (Updates)

- Checking this box enables automatic updates
- Select From the list the frequency at witch you want Bonjour Mounter to check for updates
- Enables Automatic background downloading of update files.
- When checking for updates, send anonymous information for statistics purposes, it helps us to determine witch systems we should keep supporting in the future.
- Click to check for updates immediately

Mounts Window
|

- Add a network share definition. (see: Adding a network share definition)
- Remove the selected network share definition. (see: Removing a network share definition)
- Pop-up the tools menu.
- The Host/Server list showing how many network shares are defined and how many services are being monitored.
- network share definition list for the currently selected host/server.
- Click on the information icon to edit the currently selected network share definition
- Mount/Unmount quick click button, will mount or unmount the currently selected network share definition
- the current status of the network share, (Offline / Resolving / Mounting / Online).
- Quick information on the network share, (share point name / username used to connect / auto mount)

Adding a network share definition

- Select the type of protocol that will be used to connect to the network share.
- Enter the Server/Host Name/ IP or Bonjour Name, or select one from the drop down list.
- Enter the name of the network share/folder that will be mounted as a drive.
- If your server accepts anonymous/guest connections check the login as guest checkbox.
- Enter the username that will be used to connect and mount the network share
- If you are connecting to a server with a random password generated like RSA check this box to have bonjour mounter ask you for a password (NOTE: the password will be asked only once for a single Server/Host)
- If you have a fixed password, enter it in the password box.
- Automatic mount,is checked by default, but if you no not wish to have this network share mount automatically uncheck the box.
- Checking this item will add this share to the favourites menu.
